At 17 o'clock on Sunday, a police operation was underway with the national bomb shelter in a residential area in Tumba outside Stockholm.

A person was arrested at the scene and in connection with the operation, the police found numerous explosives in the apartment, writes Aftonbladet.

- Patrol searched for a person at the address, then saw things and goods that aroused suspicion and then the case was developed, says Mikko Airén, on-duty investigative officer at the police, to the newspaper.

According to Airén, these are substances that are subject to permits stored in the apartment.

The security police have routinely been informed about the incident.
