The department stated that the cancer health promotion and awareness program includes an annual awareness campaign called "Health Safety and Examination Satisfaction", which is launched in October of each year, and will continue for six months, to shed light on the most common cancers. These include cancers of the breast, lung, cervix, and colon and rectum. The campaign aims to contribute to saving lives by encouraging and supporting the community in adopting a healthy lifestyle, highlighting the importance of conducting regular checks, and raising awareness that early detection and treatment of the disease contribute to saving lives.

The department published that the preventive examination for newborns, aims to ensure that all newborns in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi receive a comprehensive examination for newborns through the preventive examination program, which includes parenting education, comprehensive clinical examination, preventive examinations, follow-up, diagnosis, guidance, treatment, in addition to evaluation Where newborns check for harmful genetic and congenital problems, which may be serious, and usually unclear at birth, which may negatively affect the mental and physical development of the child, and complications may reach death.

The department noted that the “My Health with My School Care” program deals with the health and well-being of students in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of improving access to appropriate school health services, in addition to enabling students and adolescents to develop healthy behaviors in order to prepare them for all stages of life.

The Weqaya program helps to lead a healthy and active life, as it enables its participants to access the report on personal health after conducting a prevention examination, receive an explanation about the report and the results of the examination, and access to information and services directly related to the health status, in addition to booking appointments with doctors and medical clinics.

The department confirmed that the "Abu Dhabi Smiling" project is part of a program that targets children and students from 5 to 11 years old.
