It was the night before Thursday when the duo was arrested in the residential area of Skönsberg in Sundsvall. A major police effort was required and initially both suspected of the crime less serious human robbery, attempted extortion, gross unlawful coercion and abuse of court case.

Known by the police

Both persons are known by the police and both denied the charges.

Chamber Prosecutor Karin Eweritt made a decision to request the two detainees on Friday and negotiations were held in the Östersund Jail Detention Court on Saturday.

Forget the prosecutor

At the hearing, the man was arrested according to the prosecutor's petition while the woman was released on parole.

Karin Eweritt is the author of what this is all about, but when asked if it could be drugs involved, she answers:
- Without being investigated yet, one can suspect it, but in that case it is something that will appear later in the investigation.

The concept of "less serious crime" about human robbery usually refers to the fact that it must have been a short course or that no weapons were used in the crime.

Prosecutions against the detainee must be brought by January 10.
