Former Italian-Brazilian midfielder of Paris SG, Thiago Motta, was dismissed from his duties as coach of Genoa just two months after his arrival for his first experience as coach N.1, announced the Italian club on Saturday website.

Motta is replaced by Davide Nicola (46), a former club player who already coached in Serie A when he was head of Livorno (2013/2014) and then Crotone (2016/2017).

Born in Brazil, then Italian international 30 times, Thiago Motta (37) evolved in particular at FC Barcelona, ​​Inter Milan and PSG (between 2012 and 2018) before taking charge of the U19 of the French club until in July 2019.
