The Houthi group in Yemen announced today, Friday, the bombing of a camp in southern Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile, for the first time since the group announced a unilateral truce in September.

The Houthi military spokesman, Muhammad Abdul Salam, said that the Saudi army was killed and wounded as a result of a Houthi missile attack on a Saudi camp in Najran, adding that this attack came within the framework of a legitimate and natural response to what he called the crimes of the Saudi regime.

The spokesman pointed out that a Badr P1 ballistic missile was fired at the 19 Commandos Brigade Command camp in Bir Askar, in Najran city, indicating in a tweet on Twitter that the targeting resulted in dozens of the Saudi army being killed and injured, including officers.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Houthis accused Saudi Arabia of bombing a popular market in Saada Governorate (northern Yemen), which resulted in many civilian deaths.

On Wednesday, the Houthi military spokesman, Brigadier Yahya Sari, vowed Saudi Arabia to a painful and harsh response to the artillery and missile attack on the Al-Raqou market in the Sa`da district of Saada Governorate.

Saree said that Saudi Arabia continues its crimes and penetrated into Yemeni blood, adding that what he called Saudi crimes will not go unnoticed.

In late September, the Houthis announced a unilateral ceasefire, halting the targeting of Saudi territory by flying and missiles.
