The new Montpellier opener Handré Pollard, crowned world champion in November with South Africa, will play his first home game on Saturday against the Stade Français, said the MHR on Friday.

At GGL Stadium, Pollard (25, 48 caps) will try to do better than his debut the previous weekend against Racing 92, where he left 8 points en route in his role as scorer. And the MHR bowed less than that (29-25) ...

The Montpellier public will have the right to a duel of internationals in this position since Pollard will face the Argentinian Nicolas Sanchez (31, 80 selections), who lost his place of N.1 in the Pumas during the World Cup as since with his club (only 2 tenures). Replacing the young Joris Segonds during the victory against Pau (21-18) on Sunday, he will this time hold.
