“Of course, once again from the US we see an attempt to intervene in internal affairs, which the Americans do regularly, giving an assessment of Russia's actions in the Republic of Crimea, which is an integral part of our country and a subject of the Russian Federation,” said Ganzhara.

According to him, the Americans are "annoyed" by the successes that Russia has achieved in Crimea over the past years.

“The launch of the railway part of the Crimean bridge, which marks the end of the logistical integration of Crimea into Russia, determines the solution of many issues related to the economy and life on the peninsula ... The Crimean bridge has been launched, it will function successfully and annoy Americans,” the political scientist added .

Earlier, the US Embassy in Ukraine condemned the launch of train traffic on the Crimean bridge, saying that such actions by Russia "demonstrate a blatant disrespect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine."

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, where most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
