On Friday, December 27, a BEK AIR plane lost its altitude during take-off and broke through a concrete fence. There was a collision with a two-story building.

On board were 95 passengers and five crew members. According to recent reports, 12 people were killed.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has launched an investigation into the incident.
