As noted, the case was opened following a statement from Erenzen Manzheev, financial manager in the bankruptcy case of former Inteco first vice president Viktor Baturin, the brother of the richest Russian woman.

According to him, Baturina, during a trial with her brother in Austria, stated that a case was being investigated against Manzheev in Russia to gain access to her funds with the help of fake documents. He claims that this is not true, and therefore appealed to the court.

On Friday, December 27, the judge decided to put Baturina on the wanted list, an obligation to appear was imposed on her.

Her spokeswoman, Gennady Terebkov, said that the decision would be appealed.

Earlier, Elena Baturina again headed the list of the richest women in Russia according to Forbes magazine.
