London (dpa) - More than 60 migrants were picked up on the second day of Christmas when crossing the English Channel from France to Great Britain. 49 people were discovered in four small boats and brought to England. The Home Office in London said they said they came from Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. The French authorities rescued 14 migrants in two other boats and brought them to France. Some of them suffered from hypothermia, the BBC reported.
