Police received an alert about an ongoing abuse in a home at 18 on the second day. On site, the injured woman was found, who was then taken to hospital with unclear injuries. The man, who is also in his 30s, was then arrested nearby.
"The approach, the circumstances and the damage have contributed to us changing the crime classification from serious abuse to attempted murder," says Rickard Lundqvist, a police spokesman.
According to the police, the man and woman are familiar with each other.
