In order to improve IR facilities, in September, the Japan Tourism Agency announced a draft basic policy that included evaluation criteria for selecting areas for improvement.

Expected to open in mid-2020s
In overseas cases, it will take several years to build hotels, casinos, and international convention centers, which are the main IR facilities, and the government expects to open in the mid 2020s.
