Interviewed in Istanbul: Muhammad Abdul Malik

The composer of the national anthem of the Republic of Yemen, artist Ayoub Tarish Absi (77 years), revealed a new work for him that will broadcast soon, simulating the reality experienced by Yemen and some Arab peoples during the current period.

Ayoub Tarish spoke in an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera Net about many details, including his health and his attachment to Yemen, and many of his artistic and personal desires.

First of all, can you reassure everyone who wants to know the health status of the artist Ayoub Tarish Absi?

Welcome first, all I can say is that we are fine, praise be to God, and we have tried to do what is possible to complete our medical journey that started from China and Malaysia and recently in Istanbul through physical therapy, and I would like to thank everyone who is interested in asking about my health and I ask God to grant health and safety to everyone .

If we talked, how would you spend your daily life these days? What attracts you most and feels the desire to do?

I simply live with people, hardly a day passes by but I encounter many of them, whether during my stay in Sanaa or as it is during my stay in Cairo during the past periods, and so is the matter when I am traveling.

Most of my time is with my children and my family from all of Yemen in all their different groups, sometimes I feel like quiet and enjoy nature but not for long.

Badr El-Nour paradoxes and other alien songs ... Do you feel any of them when you travel outside Yemen?

Certainly, alienation robs you of a lot of your soul, in alienation a person may be busy with other things that forget many things that are accustomed to in his country, and there are some songs that dealt with this issue, among them: "Go back to you about how much he called you to water .. and the spring came to him who has nothing but you." .

Your soul hangs home so much and it seems that you only thought of leaving for treatment. What is the secret of this love?

True, when I travel mostly, I wait to return to Yemen, and I rejoice in this more than the feeling of traveling, those things that we grew up with in beautiful Yemen, the simple details in the countryside and their charming nature.

And also the simplicity of people and their love that has boundaries, many things make me attached to Yemen, and this is normal. When we sang to the earth, our feeling was sincere, and therefore it is not possible for those who love the earth and flirt with everything in it to be able to abandon it.

What is the most Yemeni city you feel when you do not want to leave?

All Yemeni cities and their countryside love them and have a special place for me, so Aden was the beginning of my artistic career and settled in it for a period of time and then moved to Taiz, and I felt that if I got out of it I would be like the fish if it left the sea, as well as Sanaa also during the recent years which I settled in became Much to me.

Who is the favorite artist who loves Ayoub Tarish to hear his songs?

Of course there is Mohamed Abdel-Wahab who I often hear, as well as the immortal lady Umm Kulthum and the wonderful artist Fayrouz, the artist Riyad Al-Sanbati and Abdel Halim Hafez, and I hear many artists but specific songs.

The artist Ayoub Tarish continues his medical trip in Istanbul (the island)

Many say that Job took his right from the love of people, but he did not enjoy the successive governments that he would receive for his giving to Yemen. What do you think?

When a person works to serve his country and the people of his country and enjoys the widespread love of people, I think that is enough. It is true that we appreciate the preoccupation of the official authorities, but I really feel the most gratitude for him is those good feelings that I receive from the Yemenis in their various groups and regions and whom I encounter every day, which is what makes me feel the most. I was satisfied, and if I could exchange them more love and giving, I would.

If the years of life take you back a little, what do you hope to live again?

Those beautiful moments that I used to live with my children and my family were there on the mountainside, on the banks of the valleys and in the picturesque Yemeni countryside, which we used to go for a walk, such as Al-Husseini Farms in Lahj Governorate and Wadi Al-Dhabab in the city of Taiz and the outskirts of Sana'a as well.

And the rest of the wonderful places in the countryside are simple, I think that is what makes one feel the most reassuring, reassuring and desire to be creative.

"O heavens of my country, bless us, long as you are September liberation, my response, O worldly, we pay tribute." Today, you are hearing the national songs and songs that were dug in the minds of every Yemeni. How do you feel?

I do not hide you that there is a kind of pain that may creep into one's mind sometimes, pain over what is happening to your country and country, and there are some high national values that are carried by the lyrics of these songs which I hope will all translate into a reality we live in our country, but sometimes I feel that we are not We are still far from it.

There are, for example, chant words, fill the world with a smile, the beginning of which says: And never raise yourselves above the sacrifice of all the transcendent misdeeds. "

Can we talk about upcoming works by Ayoub Tarish?

I have a new work that will come to light soon, which is a video clip entitled "Our Slogan is Humanity", and it carries a message of love, tolerance and coexistence among nations and rejects wars, violence and fighting, and simulates what our homeland Yemen currently has and many Arab peoples in the region and the world, and I hope to find its way For everyone to live in love, peace and security.

The work was done with the contribution and support of the young businessman Safwan Al-Nashiri, and I use my speech here to thank him.

In fact, this is my first work in the form of a video clip that my office is fully implementing and has the name "Office of Artist Ayoub Tarish for Artistic and Media Production". Thus, all work rights will be reserved with the office, and registration took place in Cairo studios and photography and production process took place in Yemen.

Is there a message for everyone who loves Job and loves Yemen?

Thank you to all the lovers who always strive to follow my medical journey and ask about my health, whether through their direct contacts or through various social media, and in fact I exchange them for many of their feelings and we have a close return to the homeland and a close meeting, and we ask God Almighty to grant our country security and stability and the rest of our nation Arabic, Islamic and the whole world.
