Morozov noted that Ukraine “is in a very deplorable state in terms of the work of enterprises,” and citizens receive a small salary.

“Therefore, they need economic development. And limiting the supply of electricity is a "shot in the foot." It is difficult to understand the logic of such things, ”the deputy added.

The signed law establishes a ban on the sale or supply of electric energy imported from Russia under bilateral agreements and in the intraday market.

It is also specified that the Ukrainian government "has the right to cancel this ban for a period fixed by it in order to avoid an emergency in the unified energy system of Ukraine."
