The law is in line with the unified Gulf law on consumer protection, in a manner that achieves legislative integration between the states of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States, where the law aims to continue providing adequate protection to consumers, in light of technological development and accelerated growth in electronic commerce, and ensuring the arrival of goods and services according to production and distribution patterns It meets consumer needs, and limits any practices that may have negative consequences for consumers.

The law also aims to encourage sustainable consumption and create an open free market, providing consumers with complete freedom of choice and fair prices, in addition to encouraging the building of a system of ethical behavior by producers and distributors of goods and services.

Once issued, the law will work to regulate the work of suppliers, advertisers and commercial agents, in relation to consumer protection, reduce price increases in abnormal conditions, ensure the implementation of guarantees for goods and services provided by the product or client, and regulate the work of electronic commerce, in addition to identifying penalties and grievances that are relevant Relationship.
