Sharjah Municipality confirmed that it was through the Department of Public Parking that was proactive and supportive of all parties in providing distinguished services, as it provided discounts on annual subscriptions of parking subject to fees by 20% for five categories:
1- Citizens and Retirees.
2- University students in Sharjah.
3- The employees from the local and federal government departments in the city of Sharjah.
4- Card holders of the nation’s protectors
5- Beneficiaries from the Social Services Department in Sharjah or the Ministry of Community Development.
She indicated that parking cards are available in different categories, including 30, 50 and 100 dirhams, in addition to that the General Administration of Parking provided a smart application for parking parking through "m parking" for reservations through the use of an electronic wallet.
The department indicated that it has provided special positions for women, as it implemented an initiative in this regard in coordination with some commercial centers and cooperative societies through which special positions were provided for women only, in a way through which the municipality aims to provide comfort to women, given that women are half of society.
