24 December 2019A large sub-tropical anticyclone is advancing on Italy today: it will guarantee good prevailing weather, leaving only the Adriatic side of the Central-South 'defenseless', at least temporarily. This is predicted by the experts of the website www.ilmeteo.it, according to which until the day of Santo Stefano the weather will remain stable and largely sunny, with some clouds scattered in the South and some rain, tomorrow, between Calabria and Sicily. The anticyclone of the holidays will suffer a weak attack only during the last weekend of the year: on Saturday 28 colder currents of polar origin will hit the central-southern Adriatic causing temperatures to drop by 5-6 degrees, below the average for the period , but without bringing particular consequences under the aspect of the precipitations. On the rest of Italy the good weather will continue, but with the return of the fog to the North. Temperatures will remain almost everywhere above the average of several degrees. Stable and sunny weather are also attested for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
