Extra chairs are placed along the otherwise empty bench rows. The countdown to this year's Christmas night fair is ongoing and soon it is expected that every bench row will be full.
"You want something more than the food and the Christmas presents," says Annica Anderbrant, judge of the Uppsala Cathedral parish, about why this particular fair attracts so many people.
She will preach during the Christmas night fair for the ninth time this year and sees not only a large number of visitors, but also a large breadth.
- We see all generations and all backgrounds among the visitors, she says.
