"We are not going to vote in favor of these Budgets." However, Vox spokesman Javier Ortega Smith has shown himself at the entrance to the Plenary of Budgets. Later, during his speech, Smith said they will not vote against but will abstain. What they will support are tax ordinances.

The spokesman for Vox has explained that nominative grants to 45 associations including the Regional Federation of Neighbors (FRAVM) are an "important stumbling block" to give their yes to the accounts.

In contrast, the four Vox councilors will support tax ordinances that imply a tax cut of about 82 million euros in 2020.

Vox defends that it has done "the impossible" to reach an agreement with PP and Cs over the weekend, sending up to four proposals and finally asking for cuts in 0.28% of the budget and not 0.1% as requested previously.
