It is noted that a document of this level was prepared for the first time.

“The corporation was developing a plan in accordance with the provisions of federal law (No. 525-ФЗ dated 12/27/2018), which gave Rosatom the authority of the infrastructure operator of the NSR,” Interfax reports.

The measures envisaged by the plan are divided into three main stages - until 2024, until 2030 and until 2035, points are set from developing infrastructure for large investment projects and preparing conditions for transit shipping to issues such as staffing for shipping in the Arctic.

It is specified that special attention is paid to emergency rescue preparedness, issues that are under the responsibility of the Ministry of Emergencies and the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier it was reported about the successful completion of the first stage of sea trials of the Russian nuclear-powered icebreaker "Arctic" project 22220.
