Imad Murad - Doha

For weeks, Qatari diver Ali bin Mohammed and his companions in the support team for diving have been preparing to celebrate the National Day of the State of Qatar, which falls on December 18 every year, but in their own way.

The team that carries out many strange celebrations on different national occasions has devised a new way this year, by implementing the celebration of the country's national day under the waters of the Arabian Gulf in the Celine region (southern Qatar).

The celebration included the landing of a large number of Qatari flags and pictures of the Emir of the country, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and a large map of Qatar, as well as the implementation of a national march similar to that which takes place in the yard of celebrations on the National Day.

Qatari diver Ali bin Mohammed considered that participating in the celebration of the National Day under the water is a way to express their love for their country, but through their way of diving hobby, stressing that every Qatari considered the occasion of the national day as a renewal of the era of unity and interconnection between the groups of the people.
