Three people have died this Sunday in their home in the parish of Fisteus, in Curtis (La Coruña), by inhalation of carbon monoxide from a current generator.

As reported to Europa Press sources 112 and 061, the alarm call has been given at 16.50, when the three dead people have been located inside a house.

The dead are a marriage of octogenarians, who were found dead in their bed; and their son, 52, who was in a garage where a fuel current generator was running, which is considered as a possible cause of poisoning.

Research sources suggest that the house could have suffered a power outage, which would have caused the occupants to use the generator.

In the operation, members of the local GES, agents of the Civil Guard and Firefighters of Betanzos, as well as health personnel of 061 and members of the group of psychological intervention in disasters, to assist the families of the deceased participated.
