Traffic at SNCF and RATP will be further disrupted Monday by the strike against pension reform, with 40% of TGVs in circulation and six metro lines closed, the two groups announced on Sunday.

SNCF also plans to run 40% of TER (partly by coach), 20% of Transilien (RER SNCF and commuter trains) and a quarter of Intercités, while international traffic will be "disrupted", specifies the railway group in a press release.

Tuesday, Christmas Eve, the Transilien lines will gradually stop running from 6:00 pm only to restart "Wednesday in the afternoon on most lines", he also warned. "Some lines or sections" will remain "closed until Thursday, December 26 in the morning".

"The timetables of the trains running on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 December will be available" Monday at 5:00 pm on "the transilien.com site and on the SNCF Assistant", said the group, inviting its customers "to systematically check" these timetables, "especially for their journeys" on New Years Eve.

Monday, TGV side, SNCF will run half of Ouigo trains and trains on the Atlantic, East and Southeast, two out of five trains on the North axis and one intersector TGV (province-province) on five.

In Ile-de-France, where two RER lines are operated jointly by SNCF and RATP, there will be one RER A in two on average only "at peak times" (6.30 / 9.30 a.m., 4.30 p.m. / 7.30 p.m.).

For RER B, the interconnection will remain "suspended" at the Gare du Nord. There will be one train out of three "on average" all day long on the northern portion operated by SNCF, while on the southern portion managed by RATP, only one in three trains is scheduled during peak hours, according to both. groups.

At the RATP, metro side, six lines will remain closed (3bis, 5, 6, 7bis, 12 and 13) and only automatic lines 1 and 14 as well as the Orlyval line (shuttle to Orly airport) will operate normally.

Lines 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be partially operated during peak hours, lines 2 and 11 will be open for the morning peak and line 3 for the evening peak, specifies the authority.

Two thirds of the buses will run while the tram traffic will be "close to normal".
