22 December 2019A boy who has been missing for two and a half years in Germany was found alive in the closet of a man suspected of child pornography during a search. German police reported it, according to CNN.The young man, now 15, was found on Friday, but the news was released today. Police from Recklinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia were searching the home of a 44-year-old man suspected of trafficking in child pornography.
"The agents discovered a boy locked in the closet - the police reported - a quick investigation has allowed us to ascertain that it is a 15-year-old boy who has long since disappeared". A spokesman then specified that the boy had been away from home for two and a half years. There were two men in the house who were arrested. One of the two was later released.
Computer material was found in the house, currently under examination. The young man is under police protection. According to the agents, there is no evidence that he was being held against his will.
