The downhill race at the Val d'Isère Ladies Alpine Skiing World Cup, already canceled on Saturday and then rescheduled on Sunday, was finally canceled due to the wind and snowfall, the organization announced.

No race could therefore take place this weekend for the Women's Ski World Cup (a downhill and a combined were planned), a week after the cancellation of the giant of the Men's World Cup scheduled in the Savoy resort .

Out of four races in two weeks, only one could be contested, the men's slalom won by Alexis Pinturault.

Last year already the Val d'Isère Women's World Cup had been entirely canceled, this time due to the lack of snow.

Skiers will meet in Lienz in Austria on December 28 and 29 for a giant and a slalom.
