April 15, 2019A 47-year-old man died at dawn this morning after being crushed by the crane he was maneuvering. The accident at work occurred in an industry that deals with precision mechanics, in Maniago (Pordenone).Around 6, shortly after the gates were opened, the victim - an Italian citizen, a nearby resident - was moving a very heavy load when the crane fell and he was crushed. The man died shortly after of his injuries, despite the timely help of 118.
The carabinieri of the Maniago station and the inspectors of the Healthcare company arrived on site for the surveys: the yard was placed under seizure.
