The National Police investigates the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman of about 35 years whose body has been found this afternoon charred on a hillside of Mount Tossal, next to the castle of San Fernando, in the city of Alicante.
According to sources close to the investigation, a woman has been arrested to clarify her possible relationship with these facts. Specifically, it is about determining whether the event corresponds to a homicide or an accident.
The finding took place early this afternoon, after authorities have been alerted to a fire behind Mount Tossal and Rico Pérez Stadium , in an area popularly related to drugs and the homeless.
Once the flames were extinguished, the agents that moved to the place verified that the body of a person was among the remains of the fire, so that an investigation was immediately opened.
