A hairdresser from San Juan de Aznalfarache (Seville) and another woman have been sentenced to one year in jail and 21 months respectively for defrauding more than 900,000 euros to fifty victims who were posed as experts in capital investments in the stock market and Petroleum derivatives.

In two sentences to which Efe had access, the second dated December 12, the Third Section of the Sevill Provincial Court sentenced ABGA to one year in jail and 1,080 euros in fine and DSG to one year and nine months of imprisonment and the same fine for a continuing crime of fraud.

The court estimates the attenuation of confession in the case of the first defendant, since it recognized the facts to the Civil Guard from the first proceedings, delivered "relevant documentation" and informed of the participation of the other defendant, who already had three previous convictions by scam.

To other defendants in the case, the brother and husband of ABGA, the Chamber considers them complicit and imposes respectively five months in prison and a fine of 720 euros to JDGA, to which the mitigating confession also applies, and seven months in jail and 900 euros of fine to FJCL

In addition, the four defendants must jointly indemnify the 56 victims with the amount cheated, 912,600 euros.

Yields between 20 and 50% in one month

The court considers it proven that the two main defendants, "with the intention of obtaining an economic benefit at the expense of others," pretended to have "knowledge and relationships with companies dedicated to the investment of capital in the stock market, oil derivatives or other financial operations that generated great profitability "and since May 2011 they got from ABGA acquaintances" small amounts in cash ". The women promised their victims that their money would go to an investment company in Barcelona , Brokers Finance , and assured them of returns of between 20 and 50% "in just one month."

"To give security to the deception" they began to pay that profitability "with the amounts collected from other investors", which also generated "trust in third parties about the seriousness and solvency" of these operations and obtained "numerous fundraising of the first customers".

In October 2011, the two women and the husband of ABGA formed the Chibelo Inmo Finance company , opened a store in El Puerto de Santa María ( Cádiz ), place of residence of DSG, and registered the company in both "real estate services" as "retail trade and leasing of land and river vehicles" and "barber shop for ladies and gentlemen", which was the "real profession" of the main defendant.

Some of the scammed money was also used to finance another person, AAA, who, from October to December 2011, managed an icotherapy business in El Puerto, dedicated to pedicure and foot cleaning by immersion in a container with fish, reason why this man will respond like participant to lucrative title.
