22 December 201900.41 A merchant ship flying the Italian flag ran aground in Sant'Antioco, in south-western Sardinia, due to bad weather. The boat, which left Cagliari, was bound for Spain, but due to the rough sea and the strong wind, it had reversed its course to return to the port when it hit the rocks and remained blocked. The Harbor Master's Office and the Civil Protection rescued the 12 crew members.
