Behind the serious criticism is the Swedish Work Environment Authority, which 14 days ago conducted an in-depth inspection of the large wind farm in Viksjö. Seven inspectors were present and now the criticism comes:

- It is an organization in place in Viksjö that does not seem to know about Swedish work environment legislation, says Agneta Axelsson at the Swedish Work Environment Authority.

Work environment ignored

The criticism is directed at an organization that has caused work environment managers to jump off in batches and minutes. According to Swedish legislation, work environment coordinators must be in place, which in Viksjö has been solved with hired consultants with the task of preventing accidents and ensuring that the work environment legislation is followed.

Normally, the work environment coordinator has strong team support and strong muscles, but not in Viksjö. So far, three coordinators have jumped off since they were more or less ignored by the Nordex wind turbine.

Several accidents

According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority, there are major shortcomings in the systematic work environment work. There have also been incidents and accidents.

SVT has previously told about several accidents in the area. In January, five people were injured when a truck with gravel tipped and a few weeks later a Bulgarian truck went straight down a brook ravine. It was icy that day and the truck was missing winter tires.

- It is serious that several accidents and incidents occurred at an early stage of the project and we are worried about what may happen when the construction enters its most critical phase when turbines and rotor blades are to be lifted on site, says Agneta Axelsson at Work Environment Authority.

New seats and Nordex

The list of accidents and incidents reviewed by the Swedish Work Environment Authority is long and according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority no one should have been able to occur if the work environment in the area was taken seriously. The Swedish Work Environment Authority has informed the Swedish developer Nysäter Wind and its total contractor, the wind power builder Nordex, that they must arrange the systematic work environment work.

In the case of the Bulgarian truck, Nordex has defended itself by having the Macedonian driver infiltrate the construction area with his truck. However, the Swedish Work Environment Authority points out that it was easily solved with road booms and signs. Today there is neither one nor the other. There are not even signs telling those who move into the area where to turn with their questions, the Swedish Work Environment Authority points out.

Priestyard - no office

There is also a lack of a proper establishment with staff and office space.

Today, Nordex's 27 officials in Viksjö are referred to the old vicarage in Viksjö. The premises are old and worn and do not hold the measure, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority. It's not an office, it's a parsonage. No more no less. But the criticism also applies to working conditions with stress and long working days.

Nysäter Wind and Nordex have until January 10 to respond to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's criticism. By extension, the companies are threatened by the white.
