The Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Chairman of the Security Council, in preparation for hosting the World Expo 2020, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, stressed the need for concerted efforts at the state level to prepare for hosting the exhibition, noting that the various parties involved in organizing the exhibition have gone a long way in building an integrated infrastructure with International standards, as well as starting to train and qualify human cadres.

This came during his presidency of the Security Council meeting to prepare for hosting the World Expo 2020, to discuss four topics on the agenda of the meeting, in the presence of the Assistant Commander in Chief, members of the Council and a number of officials of the International Exhibition and those in charge of it, along with a number of officers.

Al-Marri reviewed the topics discussed in the previous meetings and the decisions that were implemented and are still being implemented, stressing the importance of implementing the decisions of previous meetings, and ensuring the work as an integrated team that enjoys professionalism and high security professional to preserve the gains and reputation achieved by the UAE in all fields, cooperation and coordination Among all sides to make this global event a success. The Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al-Mansoori, reviewed the results of the scenarios for the teams of the border centers, stressing the importance of planning scenarios that simulate reality, in order to deal with crises or accidents as soon as they occur professionally and competently by the joint work team.

For his part, Brigadier General Muslim Muhammad Saeed Al-Rashdi, of the presidential guard forces in the armed forces, talked about the operational readiness of the elements of the national response in "Expo 2020".

Al-Marri and the attendees listened from the Director of the Early Inquiry Center at the General Authority for Ports, Borders and Free Zones, Mubarak Khalifa Al-Ghafli, to an integrated explanation about the pre-registration of the vital fingerprints of travelers and their importance in enhancing security efforts, also viewed the precautionary and preventive measures in preparation for the exhibition.

Al-Marri made a field tour, during which he reviewed the construction works for the Expo facilities.
