Angry bus passengers got on a taxi driver

Police are alerted about the riot on Vaksalagatan just before 3pm.

"It is the witnesses who call in when you see that there are noises and people who gap and behave badly," says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at RLC Mitt.

The origin of the incident was a collision between a taxi driver and a bus driver that occurred on Kungsgatan. According to the police, they must have agreed to meet on Vaksalagatan.

- They should drive to another place to talk to each other, says Daniel Wikdahl.

Once on Vaksalagatan the taxi driver stops - but the bus that collided with the taxi is not visible. Therefore, the police write a report of unauthorized departure from the traffic accident site. But it doesn't stop there.

- Another bus has problems getting past the taxi that has stopped at Vaksalagatan and in connection with it gets back into a passenger car, says Daniel Wikdahl.

The ship should then have been left standing on the street and that is when it escalates.

- At least two people get off the bus. They get on the taxi, smash the windshield on it, and then the taxi driver gets a bang, says Daniel Wikdahl.

Therefore, two reports of abuse and injury are also written.

How is the taxi driver doing?

- I think it went pretty well. There is no indication that he needed to go to a hospital.
