In addition, members of the world organization expressed concern about cases of refusal of American visas to representatives of some countries and called on the United States to intensify work to facilitate the participation of all its members in UN meetings.

The adopted document also notes that if it is impossible to resolve these issues between the UN and the United States, the dispute will be resolved in arbitration.

In late November, this resolution was adopted at a meeting of the sixth UNGA committee.

In the fall of 2019, the United States did not issue visas to 18 Russian diplomats to participate in the work of the UN General Assembly.
