Christmas is less than a week away and many will go out to shop the last for the holiday. Therefore, the police announce that they will expand their presence in several parts of the Stockholm region to create security and prevent possible crimes.
"Scares people"The areas where there will be extra police patrols are Haninge, Huddinge, Nacka, Rinkeby, Solna, Sollentuna, Skärholmen, Stockholm city, Södertälje, Täby and Vällingby.
"It has a crime prevention effect that we see because it discourages people from committing crimes," says Pia Sjunnegård Dahlbom, deputy regional police chief.
