Currently, the internationally recognized Libyan Al-Wefaq government forces are engaged with the forces of retired Major General Khalifa Haftar on 11 axes south of the capital, Tripoli. Haftar's forces began their attack on the capital on the fourth of last April in order to invade them, but they have failed so far.

The following are the fighting axes south of Tripoli:

1- Mixers: It is considered the closest to the center of Tripoli, and the battles are concentrated around the Hamza camp (15 km south of Tripoli), which is located in the area of ​​the Agricultural Plateau Project, and Haftar forces seek to reach through it to the Abu Salim neighborhood.

2- Yarmouk: It is located in Salah Al-Din area (15 km south of Tripoli) in parallel with the axis of mixers, and the battles are concentrated around it as Haftar forces seek to control Salah Al-Din area, to reach the Al-Farnaj neighborhood.

3- Ain Zara: A large area (twenty kilometers south of Tripoli) witnessing violent clashes, and Haftar's forces are seeking to control it to reach the Friday Market area in which the Maitika International Airport (the only one active in Tripoli) is located.

4- Wadi Al-Rabi`: It is about 25 km south of Tripoli, and it is located south of the Ain Zara region, and Haftar forces are seeking to control it to prevent the encirclement of its units in Ain Zara.

5- Al-Zatarna: It is located to the south of the Tajura region towards the city of Qarah Polley (45 km east of Tripoli). Haftar forces aim to cut off the road to military and logistical supplies from Misurata (two hundred kilometers east of Tripoli) to the fighting axes of the capital, and the reconciliation forces are also trying to advance through it to a city Tarhuna (ninety kilometers southeast of Tripoli) to cut supplies to Haftar forces south of the capital.

Second: The axis of the clash around Tripoli International Airport, which was suspended due to the great damage that it suffered in the 2014 battles, which is located in the south of the capital, as follows:

6- Ramla: Haftar forces are seeking to advance from the old airport (25 km south of Tripoli) west towards the strategic Al-Suwani neighborhood (35 km southwest of Tripoli) and are currently clashing with Al-Wefaq forces in the Ramla area (west of the airport), which the latter has tried several times to control the airport from this the hub.

7- Al-Tuwaysheh: It is located to the southwest of the old airport, which the Al-Wefaq forces are trying to control, at a time when Haftar's forces are trying to advance through it to control the city of Al-Sa’idia in the area of ​​Warsfana (forty kilometers south of Tripoli).

8- Alcazerma : It is located north of the airport, and through it Haftar forces tried to control it, because it is located near the airport road leading to the center of the capital, and there is a strategic transportation camp at the end of the axis.

Third: The axes of engagement in the Warsfana area (southwest of the capital) are as follows:

9- Al-Sa’idia : It is located to the north of the city of Aziziyah, the center of the Warsfana region, and Haftar forces seek to control it to cut off the road between Tripoli and Azizia.

10 - Al-Aziziya: The city is under the control of the Al-Wefaq forces, but Haftar forces are trying to advance towards it from the Awlad Talis area, northeast of Al-Aziziya.

11- Al-Hirah: Haftar's forces failed to control it to cut off the road between Al-Aziziya and Gharyan (a hundred kilometers south of Tripoli).
