In his opinion, the protective dome could spontaneously rise due to the impact on the control electronics of its own magnetic field of a meteorite or strong external radiation.
“The meteorite has a strong magnetic field - maybe it somehow affected the electrical components of the lifting mechanism. Another version is a strong electromagnetic signal or a combination of such signals from the outside, which in some way coincided with the signal from the standard remote control. The megalopolis has a huge number of sources of electromagnetic radiation, ”Bogdanovsky explained.
He also added that experts will have to understand the reasons for what happened.
Earlier it was reported that in the State Historical Museum of the South Urals, the protective dome, under which a fragment of the Chelyabinsk meteorite is stored, spontaneously rose for a while.
