This came during the official launch ceremony for the project, which was organized by the authority in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Abdullah Muhammad Al Basti, and the Director General of the Department of Economic Development, Sami Al Qamzi.

Al-Qatami said, "A doctor for every citizen" has become a strategic goal for the authority, as soon as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was directed to implement it, and that the authority mobilized for this goal all efforts and energies, and harnessed all its capabilities to be more able to provide a superior and integrated system of health care , Managed by a group of specialized medical minds, and through the best smart means, and within the global standards and established assets.

He explained that the authority worked on employing all smart technologies and means in the preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic areas, as well as in managing data, information and medical reports according to the highest levels of accuracy and privacy, which directly serves the goal.

He pointed out that the authority recently concluded a set of agreements with private health sector institutions, which expressed a desire for doctors on his part to join the medical staff of the authority in charge of implementing the project.

He continued, "With the inauguration of the new project, the authority will have taken an important additional step, within the direction of the state in terms of global competitiveness, and its endeavor towards achieving a better health future."

The Dubai Health Authority revealed in its report on the overall medical services provided by the project through the "Doctor for Every Citizen" service center, which includes medical consultations, and related initial diagnosis of disease cases, description of appropriate treatment, and referral of sick cases to hospitals and centers Health, appointment scheduling, coordination and follow-up of patients.

The authority explained that the first phase of the project, which began to include medical consultations related to family medicine, with a focus on the most common diseases, which are diabetes, blood pressure, allergies and skin diseases, indicating that its focus was based on these services in the first stage specifically, because it is the most A request by customers, and it will expand the scope of its services and medical specialties in the coming period.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Health Regulatory Sector at the authority, Dr. Marwan Al-Mulla, explained that the “Dubai Health” agreements with private health sector institutions include the joining of doctors from private hospitals to the authority’s medical staff in a doctor’s service center for every citizen, confirming the authority’s keenness It is strong to monitor all citizens ’observations regarding the services provided by a“ doctor for every citizen ”, explaining that the Dubai Health Authority relies on developing the services of this ambitious project, on the observations and opinions of citizens, in order to provide everything that exceeds their expectations and achieves their satisfaction and happiness.

Training 50 doctors within the project

The Executive Director of the Health Regulatory Sector at the Dubai Health Authority, Dr. Marwan Al-Mulla, stated that the authority trained 50 doctors to work within the "doctor for every citizen" project, as a first stage, while the training process continues throughout the year.

He said, "The authority is heading to expand the project in the future, to include citizens and residents of the health insurance campaign." He pointed out that the authority has allocated a center for the project in Rashid Hospital to deal with sick cases around the clock, through three shifts, with six doctors per shift.

Al-Mulla pointed out that the project will focus primarily on dealing with diabetes, pressure, allergies and skin diseases, while the second stage includes dealing with all diseases.
