The Civil Guard is proceeding on Tuesday to a new eye inspection of the home of the Valencian town of Manuel in which the detainee for the death of Marta Calvo allegedly dismembered her, as confirmed by judicial sources.

The inspection has been authorized by the holder of the Court of Instruction number 6 of Alzira (Valencia), and in this procedure the investigator, Jorge Ignacio PJ, is present, whose transfer from the Picassent prison has also been agreed by the magistrate.

The alleged perpetrator of the death of the young Marta Calvo is in provisional detention, communicated and without bail since last December 6, in a case initially opened for a crime of homicide.

The detainee, who surrendered on December 4 at the Carcaixent Civil Guard headquarters, maintains that the death of the young woman was "an accident" and that he proceeded to dismember the body, the parts of which he distributed in several containers.

The track of Marta Calvo, born in Estivella (Valencia), was lost on November 7 in Manuel, a small town in the interior of Valencia where he went for a date with a man.
