Paris SG coach Thomas Tuchel announced on Tuesday the loss of his injured striker Edinson Cavani for the eighth finals of the League Cup at Le Mans (L2) on Wednesday.
"+ Edi + is injured. Kimpembe too. For Idrissa Gueye, it's too early. Abdou Diallo is sick, and Julian Draxler is suspended," said the German technician.
"I hope all the rest of the workforce is available," he said.
The top scorer in the history of PSG, absent from the victory at Saint-Etienne (4-0) Sunday in Ligue 1, feels "a little muscular thing. He does not feel free in his strikes," said Tuchel.
Holder in the Cauldron, the defender Abdou Diallo, sick, is the latest recruit of the Parisian infirmary.
On the good news side, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, forfeited last weekend for personal reasons, and Ander Herrera, recovered from a thigh injury, are expected in the group to challenge the 18th in Ligue 2.
