Cologny (dpa) - More women in politics, but still too few in the economy: The bottom line of the World Economic Forum has certified Germany's progress in equality. At the same time, the organization called for rapid steps in its “Global Gender Gap Report 2020” study to close the gender gap in management positions and salaries. In the global ranking, Germany increased by four places compared to the previous year and is now tenth. In the first ranking in 2006, the Federal Republic was still in 5th place.
