In the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson gathered his new deputies Monday December 16 in the Parliament of Westminster. Addressing the 109 new recruits among the 365 Conservative elected officials, the Prime Minister urged them to get down to work to implement Brexit by January 31.

Gathered in full and on their 31st for a photo in the impressive historic hall of the Palace of Westminster, the newcomers were greeted by their leader with emphasis: " Thanks to you the party has changed for the better ", told them Boris Johnson before adding that they had "a lot to accomplish ".

To mark this surging conservative , several deputies freshly arrived from their constituencies of the north and the center of the country sported on their arrival in London a blue scarf, the color of the Tory party. These elected officials have largely contributed to swelling the conservative ranks, giving the party an 80-seat majority in Parliament, and they could significantly influence government priorities.

Prime Minister's promises

Many of them broke the Labor “red wall” by winning constituencies historically held by Labor. As a result, Boris Johnson will certainly strive to speed up preparations to achieve the first phase of Brexit by January 31 by voting on the law on the withdrawal agreement on Friday, but he will also show voters who have deserted Labor for his party which he intends to keep some of his campaign promises.

The Prime Minister should thus announce, through the speech read by the Queen on Thursday, an increase of several million euros in the budget of the national health service, the NHS, as well as new investments in infrastructure in the north and center of the 'England.
