According to Izvestia, the draft amendment to the bill "On Amendments to the Housing Code" has already been sent to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Vitaly Mutko.

Yurkov notes that the owners of emergency apartments are often poor citizens. In this regard, they need a mortgage subsidy.

“Residents of emergency houses need to be provided with the maximum number of tools to solve this issue,” the deputy said.

According to the initiative, the mortgage rate will not exceed 3%. In addition, after paying monthly loan installments, citizens should have at least two minimum living wages.

Earlier, kp.ru reported that the administration of the Leningrad Region should conclude over 90% of contracts for relocation from emergency housing.
