“The ship Duke, sailing from Luanda (Angola) in Lomé (Togo) with liquid fuel, was attacked and captured. V Ships is responsible for the Duke crew, and Union Maritime works closely with them and with all relevant authorities to resolve the situation as soon as possible, ”the press release said.

Union Maritime emphasized that crew safety was considered a priority and for the time being refrain from further comments.
