It was in December last year that the man assaulted the woman who worked at Hall. The man must have locked the door and put a chair in front when he committed the crime. In interrogation with the police, he has stated that he performed a ritual involving oral sex.

Not safe enough

The Prison and Probation Service's assessment is that the risk of continued crime at the facility is considered high and that a placement with a security class one is not sufficient for the man. Therefore, he is now placed in a special security department inside Hall.

Sentenced in the High Court

The man was sentenced to two years and eight months' long prison sentence in the district court in August earlier this year. The judgment was appealed to the High Court which chose to go to the district court's decision. He will also be expelled after serving a sentence. The man has previously been convicted of serious violent and drug crimes.
