The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anwar Gargash, said today, Monday, that weakening the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is not in the interest of the Islamic world and its countries.

Gargash said on his account in "Twitter" that "the policy of the axes towards the organization and its members is a short-term and unwise policy."

He added that "consensus and unity of the word, and despite the difficulty of formulating them sometimes, remain more influential than the selective and fragmentation axes, and the days will prove that."
