“The explosion occurred on Monday (December 16th. - RT ) early in the morning on the ground floor of the office building, which houses our embassy and other government agencies,” the TASS statement said.
As a result of the explosion, the glass on the facade of the building was broken, as well as the windows of three rooms of the Bulgarian Embassy.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
Earlier, a court in Moscow sentenced the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada to two years in a colony for assaulting the Russian embassy in Kiev in June 2014.
