Hanover (dpa) - According to information from the ZDF and the daily newspaper “Die Welt”, a subclass German tennis player is said to be involved in a worldwide betting scandal. In total, more than 135 players are said to be involved. There have been raids in various countries such as Belgium, Spain, France and the USA, as the two media reported. The US federal police FBI is said to have also contacted the Belgian investigators. A player from the top 30 in the world is said to be involved in the scandal.
