Four trade union organizations - FO, CGT, CFDT, CFTC - call to stop work and take action. For its part, the CGT, whose members have already been in the movement since December 5 through various actions, are encouraged by their central to intensify their movement.

If road transport workers respond massively to the call, this promises a big mess. The branch is vast and not only made up of truck drivers, it also brings together all the logistics chains.

In total, the transport sector has 350,000 employees. We can expect from this Monday to encounter roadblocks, blockages at the borders or many disruptions in the booming platforms for the delivery of Christmas packages.

The mobilization of carriers relates to pension reform, but they have other demands such as the harmonization and increase of their wages or the establishment of a 13th month.
