Pensioners' conditions affect many. Today, 2.2 million Swedes live in retirement, of which just over 300,000 are counted as poor pensioners. 60 percent of the poor are women.

- Now it is ten days left for the pension and I have almost no money left, says Inger Stark.

In the Aunt Patrol, the fight is mainly fought for the women who live as poor pensioners. Many have been involved in the Left Party before. But pension is not just a left issue.

"I started to cry"

Dan Glimmerås, who has always voted for the Moderates, is one of the initiators of Pensioners in Yellow Vests. He formed the group after opening his first pension message.

- It said that I would get SEK 8,100. I began to cry, and thought how in the name of the gentleman I will be able to live on this, he says.

Requires SEK 16,000

Both groups demand that the pension system be redone. Pensioners in yellow vests demand that everyone receive SEK 16,000 tax-free.

- There is not a person who can do less. The rent and food must be paid, says Dan Glimmerås.
