The representative of the Administrative Control Authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ahmed Abdel-Rasoul, stated that the most prominent results that were achieved by directing the Administrative Control Authority to its control powers over administrative institutions in Egypt during the current year (2019), was to confront the deviation of 2849 employees, who were monitored through procedures Fact-checking and seizure of criminal cases, in addition to conducting investigations of 10 thousand and 266 public employees, who were nominated for leadership positions, which resulted in the unworthiness of 393 employees to fill these positions.

Abdel-Rasoul pointed out - during the forum of the supreme audit, financial, accounting and anti-corruption agencies, which was organized today by the Court of Auditors, on the sidelines of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which begins tomorrow in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan The President of the State indicated that these accomplishments came as a result of joint coordination efforts between the Administrative Control Authority and 14 ministries and governmental institutions, praising at the same time the role of those bodies in extending the rule of law and activating all measures that contributed to controlling and monitoring violators.

He noted that the Administrative Control Authority in Egypt has been working during the current year to meet about 2246 demands of different sectors operating in the state (investigation bodies - participating in committees), explaining that the national strategy to combat corruption contributed to activating and developing the code of career conduct for workers in the state’s administrative apparatus, and establishing a site Electronically for government procurement, preparing and implementing media campaigns to raise awareness of the risks of corruption, in addition to issuing a "Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Private Sector Companies", and issuing an "ethical charter for university students".
